What Is The Difference Between A Pimple And A Zit

Pimples are caused by blocked skin pores.
Pimples abundantly occur in adolescence whereas zits can occur in any age group including teenagers. Whereas pimples surface when there are blockages in the skin pores. Zits are caused by clogged oil and melanin glands in the skin. Pimples are not necessarily infectious all the time.
The key difference between zit and pimple is the age group they affect. 2 zits at all times are infectious and if popped can worsen. They are caused by hormonal changes undergone by teenagers that lead to over secretion of melanin.
