What Happens To People Who Never Hear The Gospel

So will god condemn the innocent tribesman who has never heard the name of christ. However as paul asserts in romans 1 even people who have never heard the gospel have a revelation of the cosmic christ in their conscience and nature. The issue of what happens to those who have never heard about jesus christ is a question many people ask. The worst thing we could do would be to share the gospel with a person and have him or her reject it.

What happens to people who never hear the gospel should be a concern for us all. The truth is that all who have not heard or understood the gospel will have a chance to believe it. Many find it difficult to believe that a so called loving god would send people to hell just because they didn t hear about him. God s plan of salvation revealed in scripture is quite different from what most christians believe.

God will not save everyone but god is eager to save everyone. God will resurrect them to physical life and give them the opportunity to believe and inherit eternal life. Here is what i think the bible teaches. Therefore they too have rejected christ.

What about the people who never heard the gospel. In other words no one will be condemned for not believing in jesus who has never heard of jesus. You asked what happens to people who live far away from the gospel and have never heard about jesus and die without faith in him. If people who never hear the gospel are saved it is logical that we should make sure no one ever hears the gospel.

Even though god knows who will and won t receive the gift of salvation it is our duty as christians to be his ambassadors here on earth 2 cor 5 17 that means we spread the good news wherever we go. Sproul has noted sometimes the question is phrased this way. Humans aren t guilty because they haven t heard the gospel. They re guilty because they haven t honored their creator.

The bible does not tell us specifically about what happens to those who have never heard of jesus. What happens to the innocent person in the middle of africa who has never heard about jesus christ. God always punishes people because of what they know and fail to believe. Asking what happens to those who have never heard the gospel is a comment question.

In other words not because of the absence of something faith but because of the presence of something rebellion. Paul sadly states that for the most part they have not accepted even this amount of light and followed it. If we assume that those who never hear the gospel are granted mercy from god we will run into a terrible problem.
