While each planet has its own gravity based on the size of the planet and the speed at which it travels orbit is based on the gravity of the sun.
Gravitation holds together the hot gases that make up the sun and it keeps the planets in their orbits around the sun. The force will be equal on the two. The two forces that work together to keep the planets in orbit around the sun are gravity and inertia. Gravity is the primary force that controls the orbit of the planets around the sun.
One of the forces is gravity. The gravitational pull of the moon pulls the seas towards it causing the ocean tides. People misunderstood gravitation for centuries. Another term for gravitation is the force of gravity.
There are two major forces that keep these in orbit. Gravity creates stars and planets by pulling together the material from which they are made. Inertia keeps the planets spinning. The force that keeps planets in orbit around the sun is weight which is equal to the acceleration between the two bodies multiplied by the mass of the body.

It doesn t really matter all the forces remain the same. And so that could be a moon going around a planet.
