A biblical look at christmas easter and halloween in the 4th century when christianity became the state religion of the roman empire and pagans were forced to join the christian church church leaders knew that not all these new believers understood or believed the gospel. After all they believe they do not celebrate the holiday like the ancient pagans. No one in the bible ever observed an annual religious holy day in memory of jesus birth nor does the bible ever authorize the practice. It says starting in verse 5 that one man considers one day more sacred than another.
Many people are aware that popular holidays such as easter halloween christmas etc. Christmas and easter are man made festivals without biblical authorization. God s holy days teach us how to live godly lives and give us hope by explaining his plan of salvation. Christians all over the world celebrate easter sunday as a special day.
The bible nowhere instructs christians to celebrate holidays such as christmas easter thanksgiving valentines day memorial day labor day independence day birthdays anniversaries etc. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. Another man considers every day alike. Another argument against christmas especially having a christmas tree is that the bible forbids bringing trees into our homes and decorating them.

One man considers one day more sacred than another eg. He who regards one day as special does so to the lord. 3 16 17 the scriptures provide to all good works. The bible s answer the celebration of easter is not based on the bible.
Are not in the bible and are actually pagan in origin. If you look into its history though you will see the true meaning of easter it is a tradition based on ancient fertility rites.
